This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage all elements of the Software Development Lifecycle for company-wide software solutions.
• Evaluate, analyze, and document the needs of business units, workflows, program functions, and technical business processes.
• Facilitate discussions on joint business/IT requirements and organize stakeholder review meetings.
• Deliver analytical system solutions tailored for key stakeholders.
• Identify functional gaps in software and opportunities for enhancement.
• Collaborate with product owners to develop product backlogs utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Formulate user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.
• Engage in project implementation as a technical subject matter expert from start to finish.
• Provide training and mentorship to BSA I team members.
• Take part in scrum events such as daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and reviews.
• Promote Agile practices and service enhancements.
• Design, create, and document process flows, technical requirements, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models.
• Offer Tier 2 application support for enterprise-wide managed software solutions.
• Address internal tickets and operational support requests in accordance with service level agreements.
• Manage and assist with software upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues, aid in triage, evaluate risks, and act as an escalation point for incident management.
• Oversee application administration, which includes forms, fields, reports, saved searches, dashboards, workflow, role-based access, and reporting functions.
• Resolve application requests and reported issues through effective information gathering and ticket escalation.
• Keep application users updated on the status and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with third-party service providers and internal technical teams on software necessities and production challenges.
• Maintain productive relationships with business lines, internal technical teams, and third-party service providers.
• Participate in on-call support for critical after-hours application disruptions or major outages.
• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or health services, including technical business analysis, product development, and process enhancement is required.
• Experience in an Agile environment or Azure ecosystem (DevOps) is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Visio, MS Word, Excel, PDF, SharePoint, and similar tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices.
• Experience in creating user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Expertise in process flows, technical requirements, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models.
• Experience providing Tier 2 application support.
• Knowledge of forms, fields, reports, saved searches, dashboards, workflows, role-based access management, and reporting support.
• Capability to participate in on-call support for after-hours application issues or significant outages.
