This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Conduct analysis, programming, testing, troubleshooting, modification, and implementation of reporting and visualization tools.
• Analyze request specifications and customer requirements to create, adjust, or refine data analytics solutions.
• Maintain report content during system upgrades while resolving production issues related to supported reporting configurations.
• Document and convey program and project details to project leadership, supported teams, and operational staff.
• Guide team members in discovering and executing reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with departmental and business team members as a senior subject matter expert to address high-priority analytical challenges.
• Create meaningful data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and necessary actions.
• Design data visualizations in compliance with institutional standards.
• Lead the enterprise-wide deployment of data visualization tools.
• Gather, document, and construct intricate business logic for metrics within datasets for ad hoc use.
• Work alongside training teams to create job aids and training documentation.
• Collaborate with data stewards and data architects to populate, automate, and manage metadata tables, columns, metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop and utilize Epic reporting tools to meet reporting requests.
• Assist with the installation and enhancement of software of small to medium complexity, including coding, testing, debugging, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate on environment upgrades, release notes, and upkeep of reporting functions.
• Implement changes in accordance with established departmental protocols.
• Research and devise analytical solutions for both existing and new organizational challenges.
• Coordinate activities and lead others without having supervisory responsibilities.
• Engage with internal and external customers, healthcare professionals, staff, and individuals at the Director level or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Certification in Epic Cogito, Epic Clarity, and Epic Caboodle.
• One relevant Data Model certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, data management, software development, or information technology within a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in data visualization development tools.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare and hospital business operations.
• Expert understanding of Epic’s suite of analytical reporting tools.
• Functional knowledge of Epic’s suite of application reporting tools.
• Strong programming, analytical, and computational abilities.
• Significant expertise in data quality, data profiling, metadata management, and reporting.
• Outstanding time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively across various management levels.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while navigating multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Skills in synthesizing and integrating information.
