Senior Business Analyst – Data, BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Comprehend business requests and identify the true needs of users.

• Translate functional requirements into actionable tasks.

• Evaluate existing BI solutions, particularly in Looker.

• Determine how to migrate or adapt solutions to Strategy/MicroStrategy or Power BI.

• Transform needs and solutions into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.

• Assess the feasibility of solutions, including limitations, dependencies, and data requirements.

• Define the scope, complexities, and estimates of requests.

• Document solutions, requirements, and implementation criteria.

• Serve as a liaison between business and technical Data/BI teams.

• Join and develop long-term within the Cívica team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar roles in Data/BI environments.

• Experience with Looker, with skills in understanding and analyzing existing solutions.

• Proficient in Strategy/MicroStrategy, capable of implementing solutions within the tool.

• Experience in gathering and defining functional requirements.

• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, source evaluation, and feasibility assessment.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams, acting as a bridge between the two.

• Experience in migration projects between BI tools, particularly from Looker to Strategy/MicroStrategy or Power BI, will be valued.

• Experience with Power BI in functional analysis or solution definition contexts will be considered an advantage.
