This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Collaborate directly with clients to fulfill and advance P&C Insurance business requirements for comprehensive system implementations utilizing Guidewire InsuranceNow.
• Participate in all phases of product or service offering projects, starting from initiation to installation.
• Lead and work together on business requirements and functional design documents alongside client business and technical teams.
• Provide mentorship on managing project implementation throughout the entire implementation cycle.
• Oversee, advise, and direct requirements on project implementations.
• Consult with clients and engage portfolio leadership when necessary.
• Champion the methodology for product implementation.
• Design and estimate business solutions addressing product gaps and enhancements.
• Comprehend objectives and requirements utilizing business and system skills.
• Monitor work hours and guarantee accurate billable time reporting.
• Assist with quality assurance testing of system deliverables when needed.
• Present customer demonstrations and system presentations during implementation and release phases.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders and solicit feedback.
• Address scope changes and customizations as necessary.
• Clearly communicate issues to various audiences.
• Serve as the primary business contact across project management, engineering, product development, and cross-functional teams.
• Identify potential consequences and risk levels while coaching team members on resolving problems.
• Lead teams in understanding customer requirements, gathering data, delivering analyses, and making recommendations for process enhancements.
• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst.
• 3+ years of experience in P&C Insurance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with team members across different geographical locations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, verbal, and written skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to self-initiate tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of agile software development processes and iterative development principles.
• Understanding of fundamental insurance concepts and the ability to converse on insurance topics.
• Capability to assess and manage risks and communicate effectively.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides is required.
• May require travel up to 25%.
• Preferred: experience in directly communicating with and managing the expectations of internal and external executive stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with internal team members, customers, and partner organizations.
