This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Facilitate communication with project stakeholders to discuss project status, clarify requirements, and provide delivery recommendations.
• Elicit, document, and oversee business requirements from product owners and stakeholders.
• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications in Jira/Confluence.
• Organize backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder review sessions with engineering and QA teams.
• Perform gap analyses and workflow mapping to pinpoint process enhancements on the BX platform.
• Assist in UAT planning, prepare test scripts, and secure stakeholder sign-off.
• Create BRDs, process flows, data dictionaries, and use case diagrams.
• Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.
• Elicit and document requirements from both business and technical stakeholders within a software product context.
• Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and process documentation to a high standard.
• Lead agile ceremonies and prioritize backlog items in Jira and Confluence.
• Assist in UAT planning and execution, acting as a liaison between business and QA teams.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slack/Teams.
• Capability to generate user stories, BRDs, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and use cases.
• Preferred experience in clinical trials, healthcare IT, or regulated software environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Minimum of 3 years of business analysis experience in a software product or professional services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in English.
• Desired CBAP or an equivalent business analysis certification.
• Understanding of API concepts and capability to review technical specifications.
• Experience working in a multi-vendor delivery model.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
