Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Customer to comprehend business requirements, priorities, and anticipated results.

• Serve as a Proxy Product Owner and assist with daily product decision-making.

• Manage and oversee the requirements management process throughout the project lifecycle.

• Partner with stakeholders for ongoing backlog refinement initiatives.

• Lead backlog refinement and clarification meetings with engineering teams.

• Ensure alignment of business requirements with technical implementation strategies in collaboration with architects, developers, and QA engineers.

• Aid in sprint prioritization and deliver prompt business decisions.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to enhancements in processes.

• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and uncertainties in requirements and drive their resolution.

• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and associated BA documentation.

• Assist in product demonstrations, acceptance processes, and the incorporation of Customer feedback.

• Utilize AI-assisted methods for requirements analysis, research, and documentation tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software product development.

• Strong proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, decomposition, documentation, and validation.

• Demonstrated experience in managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience working directly with Customers and facilitating discussions around requirements.

• Ability to independently take ownership of product and business decisions within the designated responsibility area.

• A product-oriented mindset that balances business value, user needs, priorities, and technical constraints.

• Adequate technical knowledge to communicate effectively with engineering teams.

• General understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and modern web application architecture.

• Familiarity with AI-driven development principles and AI-assisted delivery workflows.

• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and decision-making abilities.

• Proficient in spoken and written English at an advanced or upper-intermediate level.
