Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Customer to grasp business requirements, priorities, and anticipated results.

• Serve as a Proxy Product Owner, facilitating daily product-related decisions.

• Lead and manage the requirements management process throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Work with stakeholders on ongoing backlog refinement initiatives.

• Organize and facilitate backlog refinement and clarification sessions with engineering teams.

• Ensure alignment of business requirements with technical implementation strategies alongside architects, developers, and QA engineers.

• Assist in sprint prioritization and deliver prompt business decisions.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and engage in process enhancement initiatives.

• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and uncertainties in requirements and drive their resolution.

• Prepare and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and relevant BA documentation.

• Aid in product demonstrations, acceptance processes, and the incorporation of Customer feedback.

• Implement AI-assisted methods for requirements analysis, research, and documentation tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in software product development.

• Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, decomposition, documentation, and validation.

• Demonstrated experience in managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience collaborating directly with Customers and leading requirements discussions.

• Capability to independently oversee product and business decisions within the designated area of responsibility.

• Product-focused mindset that balances business value, user needs, priorities, and technical limitations.

• Adequate technical background to communicate effectively with engineering teams.

• General knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, and contemporary web application architecture.

• Familiarity with AI-driven development principles and AI-assisted delivery workflows.

• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive attitude with strong ownership and decision-making abilities.

• Advanced or Upper-Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Willingness or capability to work with Svelte, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Drupal CMS, ERP, MDM, and CI/CD concepts.

• Plus: experience in smart home, smart building, or building automation sectors.

• Plus: previous experience as a Proxy Product Owner or Product Owner.

• Plus: hands-on experience with AI-assisted or AI-driven software development methodologies.

• Plus: experience with enterprise platforms that involve multiple integrations and third-party systems.

• Plus: familiarity with ERP, CMS, or MDM integrations.
