Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Customer to comprehend business requirements, priorities, and desired outcomes.

• Serve as a Proxy Product Owner, assisting with daily product decision-making.

• Lead and manage the requirements management process throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work with stakeholders on ongoing backlog refinement efforts.

• Facilitate sessions for backlog clarification and refinement with engineering teams.

• Ensure alignment of business requirements with technical implementation strategies in partnership with architects, developers, and QA engineers.

• Aid in sprint prioritization and deliver timely business decisions.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to enhancements of processes.

• Identify and address gaps, dependencies, risks, and ambiguities in requirements.

• Prepare and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and associated BA documentation.

• Assist with product demonstrations, acceptance activities, and the integration of Customer feedback.

• Utilize AI-assisted methods for requirements analysis, research, and documentation tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software product development.

• Strong proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, decomposition, documentation, and validation.

• Demonstrated experience in managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in direct collaboration with Customers and facilitating discussions around requirements.

• Capacity to independently make product and business decisions within the designated area of responsibility.

• A product-oriented mindset that balances business value, user needs, priorities, and technical constraints.

• Adequate technical knowledge to communicate effectively with engineering teams.

• General understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and contemporary web application architecture.

• Familiarity with AI-driven development principles and AI-assisted delivery workflows.

• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proactive approach with robust ownership and decision-making skills.

• Advanced or Upper-Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Experience in smart home, smart building, or building automation sectors is an advantage.

• Prior experience as a Proxy Product Owner or Product Owner is beneficial.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted or AI-driven software development methodologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with enterprise platforms that involve multiple integrations and third-party systems is desirable.

• Knowledge of ERP, CMS, or MDM integrations is a plus.
