Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery meetings, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions with clients and business units in both Portuguese and English.

• Analyze the current process and design the proposed workflow, identifying business rules, exceptions, inputs, outputs, involved systems, and dependencies.

• Evaluate automation feasibility in partnership with the technical team, taking into account process stability, data quality, risks, and anticipated benefits.

• Create and sustain PDDs, flowcharts, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and user acceptance testing scenarios.

• Identify discrepancies, contradictions, and opportunities for streamlining prior to submitting development requests.

• Assist in demand prioritization based on factors like volume, operational effort, impact, criticality, and potential advantages.

• Collaborate with developers and technical leadership to clarify requirements and explore alternatives such as RPA, APIs, integrations, and artificial intelligence.

• Supervise development, analyze scope changes, and ensure alignment between the client and technical teams.

• Plan and execute user acceptance testing, document evidence, and track unresolved issues until approval.

• Aid in implementation, provide user guidance, and facilitate the transition to maintenance and support.

• Establish and monitor KPIs to compare operations pre-and post-automation, including execution time, processed volume, errors, and rework.

• Leverage AI to enhance analysis and documentation, while applying critical review and ensuring information confidentiality.

• Bridge business needs with the technical team's solutions throughout the entire demand lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background as a Business Analyst or Process Analyst in RPA and automation initiatives.

• Proficient or fluent in English, capable of leading meetings, negotiating requirements, and producing documentation in English.

• Experience in preparing PDDs, process mapping, and creating functional specifications for automation projects.

• Familiarity with BPMN and tools for process modeling and documentation.

• Ability to articulate business rules, exceptions, dependencies, and measurable acceptance criteria clearly and objectively.

• Working knowledge of RPA and an understanding of integration possibilities via APIs, databases, files, and system interfaces.

• Experience in conducting user acceptance testing and managing demands through to implementation.

• Capability to handle multiple demands, prioritize effectively, and communicate risks and blockers proactively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with AutomationEdge, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate is advantageous.

• Knowledge of SQL for queries and data validation is a plus.

• Experience with integration platforms like Skyone, Jitterbit, or n8n is a plus.

• Background in applying AI to processes, document analysis, or conversational assistants is a plus.

• Consulting experience, working with multiple clients, or involvement in international projects is a plus.

• Experience in estimating benefits and measuring automation outcomes is a plus.
