This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Analyze audit data, corrective action plans (CAP), quality metrics, and operational information to uncover trends, recurring challenges, aging issues, ownership, and potential improvement areas.

• Contribute to the creation of standardized data definitions, taxonomies, metrics, and initial dashboard/reporting prototypes.

• Inventory and map processes related to credentialing and provider data, including controls, evidence sources, and ownership.

• Assist in organizing resources for audit readiness, including control documentation, process flows, and information stored on SharePoint.

• Conduct research, document findings, verify information with subject-matter experts, and present recommendations.

• Gain knowledge of processes and functions within the Managed Care industry.

• Utilize academic knowledge and acquire new skills through various projects.

• Investigate legal, regulatory, and other relevant topics within the functional area and industry.

• Participate in training and development sessions.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student in business analytics, business administration, healthcare administration, public health, information systems, data analytics, process improvement, or a related discipline.

• Must maintain enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college throughout the internship duration.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior academic or project experience with Excel, data analysis, process mapping, documentation, or reporting is preferred.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Must adhere to all policies and standards.
