Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for cryptocurrency and digital asset solutions.

• Work alongside stakeholders to identify and enhance business processes, workflows, and product offerings.

• Evaluate processes related to crypto trading, custody, tokenization, staking, and digital asset management.

• Convert intricate business concepts into technical specifications and user stories.

• Establish integration requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges, custody services, liquidity providers, and market data suppliers.

• Assist in the design of tokenized investment products and digital asset investment strategies.

• Aid in AML, KYC, compliance, and governance initiatives within the digital asset space.

• Develop process diagrams, use cases, user journeys, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with development teams from the discovery phase through to release and post-production support.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate the functionality delivered against business specifications.

• Keep track of market, technological, and regulatory changes to spot opportunities for product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• Prior experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, digital assets, trading platforms, exchanges, or investment products.

• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and major digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and tokenized assets.

• Understanding of blockchain principles, including wallets, custody, public and private blockchains, on-chain and off-chain transactions, smart contracts, and token standards.

• Experience in gathering and documenting business and functional specifications.

• Practical experience in creating user stories, use cases, business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in modeling business processes using BPMN and UML.

• Familiarity with APIs and systems that involve multiple integrations.

• Understanding of the crypto trading lifecycle, including order management, settlement, and asset transfers.

• Knowledge of AML, KYC, and compliance procedures within digital asset ecosystems.

• Experience in Agile environments.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher.

• Nice to have: Experience with cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, or institutional trading platforms.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of DeFi, including lending, staking, liquidity pools, and yield-generating protocols.

• Nice to have: Understanding of Web3 products and decentralized applications.

• Nice to have: Experience with tokenized securities, digital bonds, or regulated digital asset products.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with MiCA, FCA requirements for digital assets, and the FATF Travel Rule.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of structured products and capital markets.

• Nice to have: Understanding of digital asset risk management.

• Nice to have: Basic technical knowledge of blockchain architecture and smart contract platforms.
