Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between business requirements and technical execution for core DomOs applications and services.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Product Designers, and Software Engineers.

• Comprehend and validate both business and technical requirements in relation to existing system functionalities across global use cases.

• Attain expertise in DomOs application architecture, services, and integrations.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Develop and uphold domain models, solution models, API specifications, sequence diagrams, and event models.

• Facilitate hand-off sessions to direct development teams through technical specifications.

• Offer functional guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Work closely with Product Designers to enhance user experience.

• Conduct acceptance testing on finalized features.

• Diagnose data, application, and service issues utilizing log files.

• Examine store configurations and data, including pricing, coupons, addresses, and reports.

• Collaborate on tools and strategies for system migration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or Computer/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

• Over 3 years of relevant IT experience in large-scale application projects.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to simplify intricate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders while engaging technically with engineers.

• Proficient understanding of RESTful API concepts.

• Strong practical experience with JSON files.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot and diagnose application issues by analyzing log files.

• Familiarity with database concepts and operating systems.

• Proficient in at least one programming language.

• Experience collaborating with web-based application development teams.

• Preferred: programming knowledge in C#.

• Preferred: familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman.

• Preferred: technical knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Preferred: experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Preferred: experience with UML.

• Preferred: experience with Splunk.

• Preferred: hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
