Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between business requirements and the technical execution of core DomOs applications and services.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Product Designers, and Software Engineers.

• Comprehend and verify business and technical needs against the functionality of existing systems across global use cases.

• Attain mastery in DomOs application architecture, services, and integrations.

• Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

• Work together on domain models, solution models, API specifications, sequence diagrams, and event models.

• Facilitate hand-off sessions for development teams.

• Offer functional guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Product Designers to enhance user experience.

• Conduct acceptance testing on completed features.

• Diagnose data, application, and service issues utilizing log files.

• Examine store configurations and data, including pricing, coupons, addresses, and reports.

• Collaborate on tools and strategies for system migration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or Computer/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

• Over 3 years of relevant IT experience working on large-scale application projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and engage in technical discussions with engineers.

• Familiarity with RESTful API concepts.

• Strong practical experience with JSON files.

• Demonstrated capability to independently troubleshoot and resolve application issues by analyzing log files.

• Understanding of database concepts and operating systems.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

• Experience collaborating with web-based application development teams.

• Nice to have: programming experience in C#.

• Nice to have: familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman.

• Nice to have: technical knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Nice to have: experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Nice to have: experience with UML.

• Nice to have: experience with log management tools like Splunk.
