This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead the digital delivery for AECOM's hyperscale data center portfolio.
• Enforce and implement project-level BIM standards, execution strategies, and coordination workflows.
• Supervise U.S. BIM personnel and global enterprise-capabilities partners, ensuring adherence to standards, scope, and timelines.
• Create and maintain BIM Execution Plans and associated documentation.
• Manage project Common Data Environments, including folder structures, permissions, metadata, workflows, retention, and integrations.
• Facilitate BIM kickoff meetings with internal teams, partners, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor contractual obligations and milestones for information delivery.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, model inspections, clash and coordination reviews, audits, and model health evaluations.
• Track issues, deficiencies, non-compliance, deliverable status, and remediation efforts.
• Produce, amend, or finalize model content when deliverables are delayed, incomplete, or substandard.
• Engage in hands-on Revit modeling, sheet preparation, parameter population, and corrections.
• Address BIM design and modeling challenges throughout project phases.
• Develop smart-object content and templates.
• Establish and verify project models, coordinates, base points, survey points, and coordination standards.
• Conduct multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, issue triage, health scoring, and remediation tracking.
• Oversee the integration of 3D/4D/5D model lifecycles and contractor/consultant model submissions.
• Report monthly on BIM KPIs, compliance metrics, and deliverable statuses while maintaining dashboards.
• Design and implement an automation roadmap utilizing Dynamo and Revit API scripts.
• Provide technical production support for 3D and 2D deliverables and template creation.
• Deploy and support the Autodesk Content Catalogue / UNIFI.
• Assist with asset information management, digital handover, facilities management, and digital-twin environments.
• Contribute to BIM estimates and resource scheduling while monitoring utilization and recovery.
• Participate in training and certification efforts, mentor coordinators and junior staff, capture lessons learned, and disseminate BIM best practices.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience in BIM/digital delivery, or a demonstrated equivalent of experience and/or education.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience directly leading or coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects.
• Over 8 years of experience in BIM environments is preferred.
• Experience in establishing and enforcing standards while overseeing multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
• Data center or mission-critical experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in coordinating, overseeing, and performing quality assurance on work produced by offshore/enterprise-capabilities teams.
• Strong hands-on skills with Revit across multiple disciplines.
• Extensive experience with Forma, Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, ProjectWise, and project planning tools is desirable.
• Proven capabilities in Dynamo, Revit API, and scripting.
• Strong understanding of NBIMs, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650.
• Experience with BEP authoring, QA/QC frameworks, and model lifecycle management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and training abilities.
• Strong time management skills and the capacity to enforce accountability across distributed teams.
• Interest or experience in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into BIM and digital delivery workflows.
• Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
