Senior Billing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete claim intake process through charge release for high-volume, enterprise-level accounts.

• Implement billing functions across various client and internal systems, ensuring data precision and uniformity.

• Collaborate closely with Account Managers, AR teams, and other stakeholders to synchronize priorities and account requirements.

• Assist in account setup and maintenance, including billing guidelines, workflows, and system configurations.

• Take ownership of resolving intricate billing issues and escalations, including discrepancies across systems.

• Monitor workflow queues to guarantee timely processing and appropriate routing of accounts.

• Identify operational deficiencies within systems and workflows and propose process enhancements.

• Work in partnership with coding and other teams to address dependencies that affect billing accuracy or promptness.

• Provide support for client-related inquiries and deliver operational insights as necessary.

• Ensure compliance with SLAs, client expectations, and internal performance benchmarks.

• Offer guidance and assistance to Billing Associates managing enterprise accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management is required.

• Strong knowledge of front-end billing workflows and charge release mechanisms.

• Proven experience handling high-volume or complex accounts.

• Capability to navigate and manage tasks across multiple systems and platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in cross-functional settings.
