Senior BI Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance to the team, fostering best practices in development, data modeling, and BI architecture.

• Act as the technical expert for creating and enhancing analytical solutions, ensuring high quality, performance, and standardization of outputs.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business teams and stakeholders, converting their needs into data solutions and business metrics.

• Analyze processes, pinpoint opportunities, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Oversee requests, prioritize tasks, and manage the team’s schedules and deliverables.

• Delegate tasks and assist analysts' growth through mentoring and technical support.

• Ensure deliverable quality by monitoring alignment with business requirements and expectations.

• Design and improve data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI.

• Develop metrics, KPIs, and visualizations that emphasize performance, usability, and business value creation.

• Propel continuous enhancement of BI and Analytics processes, tools, and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Familiarity with Workspace administration, Gateway, Row-Level Security (RLS), scheduled refreshes, and governance of Power BI environments.

• Proven experience in developing ETL processes utilizing Power Query (M language).

• Strong proficiency in DAX for the creation of metrics, KPIs, and analytical modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of data modeling and BI architecture.

• Experience with Data Warehousing (DW), ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling.

• Advanced understanding of SQL Server and Oracle.

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.

• Capability to develop business-oriented dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.

• A plus: experience with Databricks.

• A plus: knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.

• A plus: experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• A plus: familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
