This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Conduct research, develop, design, analyze, evaluate, and manage corporate benefit plans and programs within a large, multi-state employer setting.
• Oversee multi-state employee benefits including 401(k), Health and Welfare, Wellness, Group Risk, FSA, PTO, EAP, and executive benefits.
• Support the research, development, renewal, and communication of benefit plans.
• Interpret, review, and revise benefits policies and procedures to guarantee standardization, legal compliance, and enhanced efficiency.
• Manage relationships with carriers and vendors, including the development and evaluation of RFP information.
• Investigate and resolve intricate benefit issues utilizing various systems, tools, and resources.
• Administer federal, state, and governmental regulatory filings and processes, including 5500s, SARs, audits, and non-discrimination testing.
• Analyze various benefit costs and propose action plans accordingly.
• Serve as the liaison between carriers and HRIS vendors for benefit-related support.
• Review, transmit, and troubleshoot eligibility files for benefit plan vendors.
• Engage in creating and presenting training sessions for field and corporate human resources generalists.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
• Candidates must be located in CST or EST to be eligible for this position.
• Experience with large employers is crucial for potential success in this role.
• Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, auditing, and reconciliation is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is mandatory, or equivalent experience obtained through relevant knowledge, duties, scope, and skills.
• A minimum of 4 years in benefits or finance experience is required.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, especially those related to health and welfare, is preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and associated concepts and practices such as ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA is preferred.
