This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, revise, standardize, and uphold job descriptions across all company departments.
• Organize regular reviews of job descriptions in collaboration with department heads and subject matter experts.
• Conduct comprehensive job analyses that encompass essential responsibilities, qualifications, reporting structures, and organizational alignment.
• Maintain a centralized database of approved job descriptions along with necessary approval documentation.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA classification, ADA considerations, EEO language, and other job description stipulations.
• Manage job description review, collaboration, and approval workflows utilizing the Payscale Job Description Manager.
• Act as the main administrator and internal expert for Payscale.
• Perform market pricing, job matching, and compensation benchmarking.
• Evaluate internal and external compensation data to assist with hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, retention strategies, and compensation reviews.
• Prepare compensation analyses and recommendations for HR leadership.
• Assist in pay equity evaluations, salary range analyses, compensation audits, and assessments of market competitiveness.
• Maintain compensation survey data, market matches, job records, and ancillary documentation.
• Facilitate the development of job families, job levels, job grades, salary ranges, and scalable compensation frameworks.
• Create and manage compensation reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations using AxiomHRS.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for HR leadership, Finance, and executive management.
• Build reports on base pay, salary ranges, compa-ratios, range penetration, market competitiveness, merit increases, promotions, incentives, turnover, and workforce planning.
• Create standardized reporting packages for compensation planning, budgeting, leadership reviews, and audit support.
• Validate compensation data across AxiomHRS, Payscale, payroll, and related systems.
• Identify enhancements in reporting, data quality improvements, and opportunities for advancing compensation analytics.
• Assist with the annual merit review, year-end bonus review, and incentive compensation processes.
• Prepare bonus models, calculations, review files, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct quality-control checks and support precise, timely payment recommendations.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for compensation and incentive calculations.
• Support compensation budgeting, forecasting, and year-end reporting activities.
• Create and maintain templates for offer letters, compensation addendums, incentive agreements, salary adjustment notices, commission-related documents, and other compensation communications.
• Coordinate template reviews with HR leadership and Legal teams.
• Document compensation procedures, workflows, controls, and standard operating practices.
• Suggest process enhancements that promote consistency, accuracy, auditability, and efficiency.
• Perform additional job-related tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in conducting compensation benchmarking, market pricing, salary analysis, or similar compensation functions.
• Experience in creating, reviewing, or maintaining job descriptions and compensation-related documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience handling sensitive HR or compensation data.
• Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing methodologies, salary structures, and compensation administration practices.
• Knowledge of FLSA classification requirements, pay equity concepts, pay transparency mandates, and compensation-related recordkeeping practices.
• Advanced analytical, reporting, and data visualization capabilities.
• Ability to develop dashboards, reports, scorecards, and workforce analytics utilizing HRIS, payroll, or business intelligence platforms.
• Capability to analyze large datasets, identify trends or inconsistencies, and convert findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Familiarity with compensation metrics, including compa-ratio, range penetration, market position, pay compression, and incentive compensation measures.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, data validation, and reconciliation of complex datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify sensitive compensation data and calculations.
• Excellent written communication skills for preparing job descriptions, employment templates, compensation documentation, and reports suitable for executives.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage access to sensitive compensation information.
• High-speed internet is required for remote work; Cable or Fiber ONLY with Ethernet capability.
• Minimum internet speeds: 70/30 Mbps basic, 200-300/35-70 Mbps shared, or 500-1,000/100+ Mbps heavy use.
• Preferred: experience in HR, compensation, workforce planning, or executive analytics dashboards.
• Preferred: experience with HRIS reporting tools such as UKG Ready, AxiomHRS, Workday, ADP, Ceridian, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: experience supporting annual merit, bonus, and incentive compensation review processes.
• Preferred: strong experience in data visualization and management reporting.
• Preferred: experience administering Payscale or a comparable platform.
• Preferred: experience developing compensation reports, scorecards, and management reporting packages.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with Finance, Payroll, and HR leadership.
• CCP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
