This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the leadership of Shared Services, business stakeholders, and Technology teams to produce precise and actionable reporting and analytics.

• Collect business requirements and convert them into report specifications, data models, and visual reporting solutions.

• Design, build, test, deploy, and sustain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations utilizing BI tools such as Power BI.

• Create and manage Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, DAX measures, refresh schedules, and workspace content.

• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL-based report logic, joins, transformations, and data extracts.

• Oversee Power BI content, monitor refreshes, manage user access, and resolve any issues.

• Act as a subject matter expert and provide assistance to users with reporting, analytics tools, and ad hoc reporting needs.

• Collaborate with Shared Services leadership to define a reporting strategy.

• Implement enterprise data standards, governance practices, policies, and reporting processes.

• Document data sources, business definitions, report logic, data dictionaries, lineage, and source-to-report traceability.

• Utilize Snowflake and SQL to source, transform, validate, and reconcile data for both recurring and ad hoc reports.

• Address user-reported issues and rectify report defects or anomalies.

• Support reporting governance and internal control expectations, including SOX/ICAS awareness.

• Collaborate with software developers, data developers, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to deliver intelligence products.

• Prioritize reporting requests in consultation with management.

• Provide training on reports and ad hoc assistance to Shared Services team members.

• Enhance knowledge in BI through ongoing training and education.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Practical experience in report, query, dashboard, or analytical development using SQL, Power BI, or similar BI tools.

• Proven experience in gathering requirements and translating them into effective reporting solutions.

• Experience in validating, reconciling, or troubleshooting data and report outputs.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Proficiency in data discovery, data mining, and establishing correlations.

• Understanding of relational database management system concepts.

• Solid grasp of MS Excel, Access, and/or other peripheral data analysis tools.

• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, SAP ECC, SAP BW, Sabre, Business Objects, or similar reporting and enterprise data platforms.

• Demonstrated skill in writing, troubleshooting, and validating SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis purposes.

• Experience in developing Power BI dashboards, data models, DAX measures, report visuals, and refresh processes.

• Familiarity with Snowflake data structures, data transformations, reporting views, data validation, and source-to-report documentation.

• Knowledge of compliance and awareness of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and their implications for financial reporting systems.

• Understanding of testing concepts and the ability to conduct testing at the unit level.

• A proactive and holistic approach to change, process enhancement, and job execution responsibilities.

• Strong customer service aptitude with the ability to comprehend customer business processes and requirements.

• Capacity to manage daily responsibilities with a keen attention to detail, quality, and thorough follow-up with stakeholders.

• Strong technical skills and aptitude.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with clients, management, peers, and project resources.

• Capability to influence others towards a shared vision or goal.
