This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Review sold plan documents, PIFs, and supporting materials to verify client intent, product standards, and relevant requirements prior to implementation.
β’ Utilize Crystal on a daily basis to examine, input, and update benefit information for new business, renewals, upsells, maintenance requests, and off-cycle changes.
β’ Leverage Diamond expertise to comprehend MEDDEF-level configurations, foresee downstream impacts, and spot discrepancies before claims or member materials are influenced.
β’ Engage in installation and expert-team meetings to elucidate benefit findings and offer recommendations to commercial and operational partners.
β’ Confirm PIF information against sold benefits to ensure precise downstream setup, contract documentation, certificates, and claim payments.
β’ Investigate complex benefit inquiries, resolve quality issues, and coordinate corrections with client-facing and benefits teams.
β’ Provide guidance to Sales and Client Management regarding nonstandard benefit options and the appropriate entry in Crystal.
β’ Conduct quality reviews within daily deadlines while balancing multiple priorities and sensitive implementation timelines.
β’ Assist with user acceptance testing, process enhancements, and improvements to Crystal, Diamond-related workflows, documentation, and team processes.
β’ Operate independently in scenarios lacking a fully documented process, exercising sound judgment and escalating inquiries as necessary.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, benefits, benefit configuration, claims, implementation, or related fields.
β’ Experience within Cigna Global Health Benefits or a closely related internal benefits operation.
β’ Strong understanding of Diamond, including the ability to interpret benefit configurations and recognize downstream impacts at the MEDDEF level.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of medical, dental, vision, IEAP, life, accidental death and dismemberment, supplemental, dependent, and other ancillary benefits.
β’ Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and quality-review abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Capability to manage ambiguity, make informed decisions, and work autonomously with moderate supervision.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in interactions with Sales and commercial partners.
β’ Ability to prioritize competing tasks, meet daily deadlines, and perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
β’ Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce and Crystal is preferred; training may be offered to candidates with relevant Salesforce experience and strong benefits knowledge.
β’ Preferred experience in reading client plan documents, PIFs, certificates, or other benefit implementation materials.
β’ Preferred experience in supporting new business installations, renewals, or plan maintenance for quality assurance.
β’ Some college coursework is preferred.
