This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Examine sold plan documents, PIFs, and related materials to verify client intent, product standards, and applicable requirements prior to implementation.
β’ Utilize Crystal on a daily basis to assess, enter, and update benefit information for new business, renewals, upsells, maintenance requests, and off-cycle changes.
β’ Leverage Diamond knowledge to comprehend MEDDEF-level benefit configuration and recognize downstream impacts and discrepancies.
β’ Engage in installation and expert-team meetings, articulate benefit findings, and offer recommendations to commercial and operational partners.
β’ Confirm PIF information against sold benefits to support accurate downstream setup, contract documentation, certificates, and claim payments.
β’ Investigate complex benefit inquiries, address quality issues, and coordinate corrections with client-facing and benefits teams.
β’ Provide guidance to Sales and Client Management on nonstandard benefit options and the appropriate entry in Crystal.
β’ Perform quality reviews within daily deadlines while managing multiple priorities and sensitive implementation timelines.
β’ Assist in user acceptance testing, process enhancements, and improvements to Crystal, Diamond-related workflows, documentation, and team procedures.
β’ Operate independently in situations lacking fully documented processes, using sound judgment and escalating questions when necessary.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, benefits, benefit configuration, claims, implementation, or related fields.
β’ Experience within Cigna Global Health Benefits or a closely related internal benefits operation is preferred.
β’ Strong working knowledge of Diamond, including the ability to interpret benefit configurations and understand downstream impacts at the MEDDEF level.
β’ Familiarity with medical, dental, vision, IEAP, life, accidental death and dismemberment, supplemental, dependent, and other ancillary benefits.
β’ Possess analytical, critical-thinking, and quality-review skills with exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Capacity to manage ambiguity, make informed decisions, and work independently with moderate supervision.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to organize competing priorities, meet daily deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Basic Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
β’ Experience with Salesforce and Crystal is preferred; training may be provided to candidates with relevant Salesforce exposure and strong benefits knowledge.
β’ Familiarity with reading client plan documents, PIFs, certificates, or other benefit implementation materials is preferred.
β’ Experience in supporting new business installations, renewals, or plan maintenance for quality assurance is preferred.
β’ Some college coursework is desirable.
β’ Home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speed is required for remote work.
