Senior Batch Programmer – UNIX, LINUX, C, Medicaid Claims, EDI Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead technical teams and workstreams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of intricate database application software, encompassing server, client, and web components.

• Manage the collaboration between application architects and developers to ensure that design requirements yield flexible and reusable system components.

• Produce detailed and complex documentation related to design, coding, and testing.

• Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as development, domain knowledge, application design, and database methodologies and best practices.

• Provide technical consulting to clients on highly complex projects.

• Enhance existing applications and create new application modules and components.

• Mentor and support less experienced application designers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Application Development using C, Unix/Linux, and Oracle/SQL Server.

• 2+ years of experience with Medicaid Claims and EDI Processing Systems.

• Familiarity with the Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Application Implementation.

• Knowledge of System Integration, OSB, and MFT is preferred.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

• Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule to meet business requirements and travel as necessary.

• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
