This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain robust backend services and APIs that support web and mobile applications using Node.js.

• Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to create scalable products and services.

• Take full ownership of a component, feature, or system, possessing comprehensive end-to-end knowledge.

• Execute large-scale projects while ensuring high productivity levels.

• Assume responsibility for DevOps tasks, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, deployment automation, and system reliability.

• Utilize AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code to enhance development speed and improve code quality.

• Lead critical architectural decisions.

• Work on essential experiences, including instant bidding and live interactions.

• Design scalable architecture capable of accommodating millions of users.

• Innovate features related to live streaming and checkout processes.

• Ensure the maintenance of a dependable deployment pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.

• Over 5 years of experience in building highly scalable and reliable infrastructure.

• Practical DevOps experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).

• Experience with payment systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) is preferred.

• Background in developing high-concurrency systems is preferred.

• Experience in creating web interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to integrate with backend services is preferred.

• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in China.
