Senior Backend Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, design, architect, implement, and deliver Slate software.

• Code and test system components.

• Lead code and design reviews.

• Take ownership of end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests, and integration.

• Simplify systems and tackle complex challenges through innovation and creativity.

• Collaborate with UX and product teams to create customer-centric solutions and applications.

• Act as a technical authority and provide guidance on challenging trade-off decisions.

• Promote awareness of the business implications and outcomes of technical choices.

• Balance technical leadership with business acumen when making long-term technology decisions.

• Support career advancement and mentor individuals and the technical community on advanced technical issues.

• Assist managers in guiding team members' career development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 6 years of professional software development experience.

• More than 6 years of programming experience in at least one modern language, such as TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.

• More than 6 years of experience with cloud services from AWS and/or Azure.

• Over 4 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

• More than 4 years of experience with the complete software development life cycle, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational experience.

• Proficient in the use of LLM technologies and prompt engineering development patterns.
