Senior Backend Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Senior Backend Developer, focusing on backend software development.

• Primarily utilize Python and PostgreSQL in your work.

• Engage with tools like Redis, AWS, Datadog, and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Incorporate AI tools like Claude Code or Codex into the daily development process.

• Collaborate effectively with non-technical teams and external partners.

• Proactively ask questions to clarify project requirements.

• Operate within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

• Provide software engineering services to clients, including innovative startups and globally recognized brands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.

• At least 1–2 years of recent hands-on experience with Python.

• Familiarity with caching systems, particularly Redis.

• Practical experience in integrating AI tools into the development workflow, such as Claude Code or Codex.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of AWS is beneficial.

• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring solutions.

• Understanding of RabbitMQ or Kafka; hands-on experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Advanced proficiency in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
