Senior Backend Engineer – Prompt Security, Node.js, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop backend infrastructure for an AI security product aimed at monitoring AI assets, evaluating risks, and providing actionable insights.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

• Optimize and implement database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing components with server-side functionalities.

• Engage in code reviews and play a role in architectural decision-making.

• Diagnose, debug, and enhance existing systems.

• Implement security protocols and data protection strategies.

• Utilize AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing backend services.

• Contribute to the development of microservices architecture.

• Keep abreast of new backend technologies and industry best practices.

• Uphold security policies to ensure safe and compliant AI deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Proficient in database management.

• Experienced in developing and integrating APIs, including the design and construction of RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous.

• Skilled in designing and implementing microservices.

• Knowledgeable in scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale distributed architectures.

• Experienced in implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
