Senior Backend Engineer – .NET, Python, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop middleware APIs that connect enterprise applications, data platforms, and legacy systems.

• Create and manage ASP.NET Core Web APIs along with Python services.

• Enhance AI-driven service modules and connector frameworks.

• Implement dependable asynchronous workflows, callbacks, retries, and secure write-back mechanisms.

• Integrate with REST APIs, messaging systems, queues, databases, and enterprise platforms.

• Package and deploy services utilizing Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide support for deployments in Azure / Databricks-based environments.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.

• Diagnose issues encountered during testing and in production environments.

• Contribute to a mission-critical platform where uptime, speed, and accuracy are paramount.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with C# / .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.

• Practical experience with Python, preferably with FastAPI or a similar framework.

• Proven experience in building and integrating REST APIs and enterprise services.

• Familiarity with messaging/queues and asynchronous integration patterns.

• Strong expertise in Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests for production services.

• Ability to navigate both modern cloud services and legacy enterprise systems.

• Proficient in English and capable of working remotely within the EU.
