Senior Backend Engineer, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable .NET services and REST APIs that support commerce and payment functionalities.

• Implement payment gateway integrations along with support for regional payment methods.

• Participate in planning, design, and feature delivery as part of a collaborative engineering team.

• Promote non-functional requirements and advocate for cost-effective solutions.

• Create, test, and sustain services within the relevant domain.

• Work collaboratively across teams to influence the architectural direction of the platform.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to engineers of varying experience levels.

• Contribute to a customer-facing application by delivering features that align with user needs and business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in C# and .NET Core for developing web applications.

• Proven track record in REST API design, creation, and consumption.

• Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework Core is essential.

• Strong understanding of OOP best practices, containerization using Docker, and web security principles.

• Experience in designing and managing microservice architectures.

• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A team-oriented mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and a commitment to follow-through.
