Senior Backend Engineer

• Spearhead meaningful and innovative initiatives within the SaaS solution.

• Design and enhance the overall software architecture.

• Engage in the design, implementation, and execution of distributed services and APIs.

• Collaborate closely with the team, other squads, and stakeholders, including product management.

• Deliver scalable, high-quality code with robust automated testing coverage.

• Ensure platform availability and maintainability by advancing the architecture and technology stack.

• Participate in code reviews and refactoring efforts.

• Enhance integration and delivery systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly skilled in Kotlin or Groovy.

• Demonstrated coding proficiency in other JVM languages such as Java or Scala is an advantage.

• Proven track record in designing scalable software systems, preferably within a successful SaaS product.

• Familiarity with containers, microservice architecture, event-driven architectures, cloud computing, and RESTful APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of technologies like Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, AWS, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Docker, or OpenAPI.

• Self-driven and independent engineer with creativity and ambition.

• Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing practices.

• Excellent team player with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.

• Proficient in English, adequate for thriving in a remote and predominantly asynchronous work environment.
