📋 Description

• Take full ownership of backend solutions, overseeing everything from comprehending business challenges and defining requirements to design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.

• Develop and enhance services focused on performance, scalability, resilience, and data integrity.

• Make informed technical decisions by assessing constraints, alternatives, and trade-offs.

• Ensure code and systems remain maintainable as products and requirements evolve over time.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to translate intricate requirements into straightforward, robust solutions.

• Critically review work, share expertise, and elevate engineering standards within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in owning backend services developed and operated within a microservices architecture.

• Strong understanding of HTTP, WebSockets, and AMQP communication protocols, including their appropriate applications.

• Proficiency in at least one contemporary backend framework in a production environment.

• Extensive knowledge of relational databases, covering indexing, transactions, isolation levels, locking mechanisms, and high-performance design principles.

• Proven history of designing systems that ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.

• Ability to articulate clear, structured problem-solving approaches and explain technical decisions and trade-offs effectively.

• Solid engineering fundamentals, sound judgment, and a strong willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
