Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and maintain Java application code

• Create and enhance web services and REST APIs

• Write SQL queries for interaction with relational databases

• Resolve defects and assist with production-related issues

• Develop unit tests and engage in code review processes

• Take part in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and other Agile ceremonies

• Document code and any technical modifications

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development

• Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or Db2

• Experience with Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting

• Proficiency in using standard office equipment including computers, phones, scanners, and printers
