Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

• Become part of a compact, agile engineering team dedicated to developing backend services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or a similar framework in a production environment.

• Familiarity with relational and document databases, especially MySQL and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of async/event-driven programming patterns.

• Understanding of AWS microservices architecture, including services like ECS, RDS, or other managed solutions.

• Experience or knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level.

• Experience with gRPC/protobuf is advantageous.

• Exposure to data pipelines, cloud data warehouses, or integrations with AI/LLMs is highly desirable.
