Senior Backend Engineer – Agentic Pentest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and other engineering teams to define system architecture and requirements.

• Enhance performance, scalability, and security of applications.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues with minimal service interruption.

• Conduct code reviews and advocate for best engineering practices.

• Mentor and assist junior engineers.

• Continuously enhance system design, reliability, and development workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Active and skilled use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLMs) to streamline coding practices, speed up learning processes, and optimize workflows.

• Strong background in creating scalable, production-quality systems.

• Proficient in Node.js.

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Experience in the cybersecurity, SaaS, or Cloud Security field (preferred).

• Practical experience with modern cloud environments (AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes (preferred).
