Senior Backend Developer – Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design and enhance the core product using Ruby on Rails or Go to introduce innovative features

• Engage in a hands-on manner

• Write high-quality code and implement AI-driven solutions

• Maintain quality through adherence to best practices and clean coding standards

• Integrate AI models to enhance processes

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team

• Foster developers' growth and encourage a culture of continuous learning

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine architecture, processes, and technical solutions

• Serve as a liaison between developers and Engineering Managers

• Ensure technical alignment, prioritize effectively, and achieve excellence in delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience, ideally using Ruby on Rails or Go

• Prior experience as a technical reference or Tech Lead within engineering teams

• Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and efficient data modeling

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS

• Solid understanding of monitoring tools (Datadog/Grafana) and messaging systems (Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka)

• Expertise in automated testing (RSpec or similar), SOLID principles, and design patterns

• Experience in developing scalable RESTful APIs and strong knowledge of Git/Linux

• Familiarity with LLM integration, AI frameworks, or development of data-driven features

• Knowledge of PDF document processing is a plus

• Understanding of client-side frameworks (Vue.js) is a plus

• Previous experience executing AI projects at a production scale is a plus
