Senior Backend Developer, NodeJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop applications and services using Node.js

• Create RESTful APIs and integrate web services

• Design database schemas and develop SQL queries

• Model and access NoSQL databases

• Implement in-memory storage systems

• Conduct unit testing and engage in continuous integration processes

• Apply software design patterns and adhere to best development practices

• Actively participate in agile teams, preferably with Scrum or Kanban methodologies

• Collaborate with various team members

• Design and manage distributed databases

• Create APIs using GraphQL

• Design and develop applications based on microservices architecture

• Utilize Docker and container orchestration tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem

• Experience in designing database schemas and writing SQL queries

• Knowledge of relational database management systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL

• Experience in modeling and accessing NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

• Experience with in-memory storage systems like Redis

• Understanding of security best practices in web application development

• Familiarity with software design patterns and best development practices

• Hands-on experience in agile teams, preferably using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban

• Effective communication skills in an agile environment

• Experience in designing and managing distributed databases

• Familiarity with using GraphQL for API creation

• Experience in the architecture and development of microservices-based applications

• Knowledge of using Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

• Application-level caching techniques to enhance performance

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

• Proficiency in English and/or Portuguese
