Senior Backend Developer – Java, Python, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team

• Perform discovery processes to grasp business rules and design scalable solutions

• Create comprehensive end-to-end solutions

• Develop solutions and address issues at the root of the company’s requirements

• Monitor alert channels, identify obstacles, mitigate them, and suggest solutions

• Define and develop the architecture for new features while ensuring traceability and observability throughout the development lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, ideally with microservices architecture

• Understanding of software architecture and development best practices

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, and Python

• Experience with production systems and cloud platforms

• Familiarity with Terraform

• Knowledge of messaging systems, particularly Kafka

• Capability to write unit and integration tests

• Experience with agile methodologies and practices (e.g., TDD, pair programming, CI, CD)

• Familiarity with AWS

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases

• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes

• Understanding of observability

• Experience in large-scale initiatives or highly complex/ambiguous projects

• Background in projects catering to millions of users

• Familiarity with GraphQL

• Experience with NestJS
