Senior Backend Developer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and assist in defining technical standards.

• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures.

• Implement hexagonal architecture principles or similar methods that ensure a clear separation of concerns.

• Create reusable and well-abstracted components.

• Perform comprehensive code reviews to uphold high-quality standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with a team dedicated to AI-driven solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing services with Java.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.

• Hands-on experience with hexagonal architecture (or comparable layered architecture patterns).

• Capability to design modular systems that promote proper abstraction and code reuse.

• Eagerness to work within an AI-focused team environment.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar as part of your daily workflow.

• An open mindset towards the integration of AI tools into the development lifecycle.

• Comfort with adapting to new AI-driven workflows and development dynamics.

• Knowledge of or practical experience with AI agents is a plus.
