Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create, enhance, and sustain robust backend applications utilizing Python

• Architect and implement scalable, effective microservices architectures

• Design, develop, and launch cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services

• Deploy and oversee containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Ensure that backend systems achieve optimal performance, reliability, and security

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish system architecture and drive technical strategies

• Detect and resolve complex issues

• Implement solutions aimed at enhancing system efficiency and minimizing downtime

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development, particularly with backend technologies

• Expertise in Python (experience with Django is a plus)

• Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and management

• Experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS

• Strong foundation in microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases

• Excellent debugging capabilities and a profound understanding of performance optimization methods

• Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and engineers

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
