Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain robust backend applications utilizing Python

• Design and execute scalable, efficient microservices architectures

• Utilize AWS services to architect, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications

• Deploy and manage applications within containers using Kubernetes

• Ensure backend systems uphold optimal performance, reliability, and security

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish system architecture and drive technical strategies

• Identify and resolve complex issues

• Implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and minimize downtime

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, emphasizing backend technologies

• Proficiency in Python (experience with Django is an advantage)

• Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and management

• Experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS

• Strong foundation in microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases

• Exceptional debugging skills and a thorough understanding of performance optimization techniques

• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and engineers

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferred)

• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker (preferred)

• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices (preferred)
