Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, enhance, and uphold robust backend applications utilizing Python.

• Design and execute scalable, efficient microservice architectures.

• Utilize AWS services to architect, develop, and launch cloud-based applications.

• Deploy and oversee containerized applications using Kubernetes.

• Ensure that backend systems achieve peak performance, reliability, and security.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish system architecture and steer technical strategies.

• Identify and resolve complex issues.

• Implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and minimize downtime.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development, particularly in backend technologies.

• Proficient in Python.

• Django experience is advantageous.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and management.

• Experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.

• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Excellent debugging skills and a thorough understanding of performance optimization techniques.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and engineers.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is preferred.

• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker is preferred.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices is preferred.
