Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain features of medium to high complexity within backend applications.

• Suggest and implement architectural enhancements focused on scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Diagnose and resolve incidents as well as critical bugs in production environments.

• Create and refine RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI, adhering to industry best practices.

• Ensure high quality of outputs through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.

• Generate and sustain technical documentation for systems, integrations, and components.

• Share expertise, mentor less-experienced developers, and engage in technical discussions.

• Actively engage in agile processes, contributing to refinement, estimation, and delivery planning.

• Backend Development: Strong experience in Python and FastAPI.

• Application Architecture: Understanding of software architecture, RESTful APIs, and system integrations.

• Databases: Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and both relational and non-relational databases.

• Version Control: Extensive experience with Git and collaborative development practices.

• Automated Testing: Familiarity with unit and integration testing and software quality methodologies.

• Performance and Troubleshooting: Capability to identify bottlenecks and optimize applications.

• Best Practices: Comprehensive knowledge of Clean Code principles, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
