Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices and RESTful APIs, emphasizing high performance and scalability.

• Model, optimize, and manage relational and/or non-relational database architectures, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.

• Implement Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and SOLID principles, guaranteeing automated test coverage.

• Engage actively in the agile development lifecycle, concentrating on fulfilling sprint commitments and objectives.

• Collaborate consistently with the Frontend team to establish API contracts and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development (Java 11/17+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in modeling and optimizing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), and REST API integration.

• Experience in automated testing (JUnit, Mockito).

• Proficient in CI/CD, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Demonstrated experience working within agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with individuals across various departments and organizational levels.

• Ability to self-manage, collaborate, and demonstrate proactivity.

• Willingness to work on a fixed-term basis (5 months).
