Senior Backend Developer – Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop Inbox-Agents: self-operating agents activated by new events within tickets

• Create templates for customers to train Inbox-Agents

• Design the escalation process between agents and human operators

• Ensure agents adhere to established protocols

• Construct harness engineering for agents utilizing over 100 tools

• Design system prompts, skills, and interactions with tools

• Enhance the custom knowledge base and its collective intelligence capabilities

• Optimize AI knowledge-base search using tools, system prompts, and skills

• Develop voice agents on LiveKit for telephonic communication

• Choose suitable LLMs for various tasks

• Cache and stream responses to minimize latency

• Implement retries in case of provider failures

• Streamline context and enhance RAG search efficiency

• Monitor usage across providers to cut down expenses

• Conduct evaluations to assess the efficacy of different approaches

• Proficient in English

• Over 2 years of experience in developing production agents that are AI-native

• Delivered agentic features that real users depend on

• Have insights on retrieval, evaluations, tool design, and the limitations of current frontier models

• Builder-first mentality; readiness to release a rough v1 swiftly

• Knowledgeable about the latest AI models and research

• Writes nearly all code with the help of AI

• Capable of working independently and taking full responsibility for projects
