Senior Backend, AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Designing backend architecture, data models, and ETL processes from scratch

• Developing AI-native solutions for the service and construction industries

• Automating back-office processes such as warranty management, data processing, and ERP migrations

• Working with relational databases, external APIs, LLM models, and interfaces

• Making architectural decisions and creating clear documentation

• Integrating AI/LLM models and deploying agent-based solutions in production environments

• Building and optimizing data pipelines

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing PostgreSQL databases and advanced data modeling

• Practical knowledge of API architecture design and integration with external systems

• Experience in integrating AI/LLM models and deploying agent-based solutions in production environments

• Ability to design and optimize complex data structures (relational, document, vector databases)

• Proficiency in creating and optimizing data pipelines

• Experience in making architectural decisions and producing clear documentation

• Willingness to work with an 8-hour overlap with the ET time zone (US Eastern Time)

• Fluent English skills to facilitate effective communication within the team

• Familiarity with the Supabase platform and Microsoft Azure APIs

• Experience with agentic AI solutions and voice/conversational interfaces

• Understanding of ERP systems or software tailored for the SMB sector

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Tailwind) to assist with visual layer integration

• Experience working in a dynamic startup environment
