Senior Back-End IoT and BMS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and improve applications for IoT/BMS initiatives.

• Develop solutions with a technical focus using Modern C++ or Rust.

• Build and enhance both back-end and front-end applications utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular.

• Design and execute high-performance, dependable, and scalable solutions for the integration of IoT devices and systems.

• Engage with AWS services, cloud integrations, and Linux/Unix platforms.

• Conduct performance optimization, benchmarking, troubleshooting, and analysis of intricate technical challenges.

• Take part in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help shape development best practices.

• Collaborate with global teams, engaging in meetings and technical discussions in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development.

• Advanced expertise in Modern C++ or Rust, with a strong understanding of at least one of these technologies.

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular frameworks.

• Practical experience with AWS services.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Knowledge of GitLab or similar version control systems.

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD processes, and containerization.

• Advanced or fluent English proficiency, capable of participating in technical meetings and collaborating with international teams.

• Analytical approach with robust troubleshooting and complex problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred background includes experience in IoT, BMS, embedded systems, or low-level development; knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, KNX, and MQTT protocols; familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes; and expertise in performance optimization, benchmarking, and memory management for high-performance systems.
