This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +4 more countries.
• Develop and deploy high-quality, scalable code.
• Recognize and improve areas within the codebase.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders, integrating product insights into technical decisions.
• Engage in code reviews, refactoring, testing, and pair programming.
• Take charge of designing and executing initiatives.
• Lead prioritized bug fixes and enhancements to the platform.
• Participate in or deliver presentations during weekly knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Continuously enhance both technical and soft skills through adherence to best practices.
• Develop reliable and scalable Commerce solutions.
• Challenge business requirements when necessary to ensure impactful solutions for users.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Over 5 years of experience in Backend development.
• Skilled in either PHP or Node.js, with a willingness to learn the alternative.
• Extensive knowledge of high-load architecture, Distributed Systems, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and best practices (SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, Agile).
• Comfortable utilizing Claude as an LLM partner for ideation, architectural brainstorming, and code generation.
• Proficient in debugging, unit testing, and enhancing application performance.
• Product-oriented mindset, prioritizing tasks based on business impact rather than technical preference.
• Strong sense of ownership over work.
• Practical experience with LLMs and coding assistants to optimize software development processes, including implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality.
