Senior Back-end Engineer – .NET, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Become a part of an Agile team enhancing the capabilities of leading FinTech software.

• Enhance current software and engage in new development projects every quarter.

• Develop and manage APIs and microservices utilizing C# and .NET Core.

• Create applications in an Azure Cloud environment using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Azure API Gateway, SQL Server, Angular, and other associated technologies.

• Produce automated unit and integration tests.

• Implement SOLID principles, dependency injection/IoC, and adhere to clean coding practices.

• Optimize SQL queries and application performance employing Entity Framework / EF Core.

• Work with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous or event-driven communication.

• Deliver production-ready code independently.

• Engage in code reviews and collaborate with remote, distributed teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core, focusing on API and microservice development.

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles, dependency injection/IoC, and the creation of clean, maintainable code.

• Proficient in automated unit and integration testing.

• Solid experience with SQL and Entity Framework / EF Core, including query optimization and performance considerations.

• Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous or event-driven communication.

• Experience in cloud development, preferably with Microsoft Azure.

• Background in CI/CD and modern development methodologies.

• Capability to independently produce well-structured, testable, production-ready code and actively participate in code reviews.

• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with remote, distributed teams.

• Proficient in English.

• Must reside in Latin America (LATAM).
