Senior Back End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain critical business microservices — ranging from payment flows and billing to merchant onboarding and fraud prevention.

• Work with serverless and event-driven architecture: AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB Streams.

• Collaborate with product, data, and security teams in an agile environment.

• Actively participate in code reviews, design documentation, and product initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience (5+ years) with TypeScript in backend development.

• Proficiency in NestJS (or equivalent — Express/Fastify) with proven experience in large-scale projects.

• Experience with AWS: Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, S3, Secrets Manager, API Gateway.

• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven systems (asynchronous messaging, idempotency, retry/DLQ).

• Experience with Rust (preferred, not mandatory).

• Knowledge of GraphQL (preferred, not mandatory).

• Familiarity with Step Functions for orchestrating complex workflows (preferred, not mandatory).

• Experience in fintech, payments, credit, or collections (preferred, not mandatory).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Serverless Framework (preferred, not mandatory).
