Senior Back-End Developer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Engage in continuous development and improvement of systems and services

• Implement best practices in software development

• Collaborate with Agile Squads during their ceremonies, both in person and remotely

• Proactively devise solutions and share recommendations and ideas

• Work alongside front-end developers and Product Owners (POs)

• Develop unit tests to ensure the quality of the applications created

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree

• Background in software engineering, with practical experience in Java and/or JVM-based languages

• Proficient in developing and managing systems utilizing Java, microservices, and APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js), in addition to legacy systems (Struts, Servlets, JSP, PrimeFaces)

• Familiarity with service containerization through Docker and Kubernetes (e.g., vanilla Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift, etc.)

• Experience with data-stream processing, utilizing technologies such as Kafka

• Dedicated to writing clear, well-tested, and maintainable code

• Knowledgeable in Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka/Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes
