This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create Azure networking solutions that are highly available across Azure, GCP, and on-premises settings.
• Develop monitoring solutions utilizing KQL, Azure Workbooks, Alerts, and Azure Connection Monitor.
• Proactively identify anomalies, oversee ExpressRoute connectivity, and pinpoint business-critical issues.
• Enhance network security architecture through Azure Firewall Premium, Network Security Groups, and micro-segmentation.
• Establish Infrastructure as Prompt as a key strategic capability.
• Design governance frameworks using Azure Policies, Blueprints, and enterprise governance standards.
• Create decentralized network management models while ensuring security.
• Formulate disaster recovery plans, conduct automated failover tests, and run recovery simulations.
• Integrate Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and network telemetry to identify, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams on troubleshooting, connectivity, and routing issues.
• Enhance connectivity between Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
• Partner with teams managing Sophos-based network infrastructure.
• Generate architectural recommendations and documentation for decision-making.
• Investigate Zero Trust Network Access technologies, including Microsoft Entra Private Access and Global Secure Access.
• Extensive knowledge in Azure networking, such as Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, BGP, Private Link, and enterprise Hub & Spoke architectures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, KQL, Azure Monitor, and cloud observability.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Prompt, AI-assisted infrastructure management, and intelligent network automation.
• Experience with Google Cloud networking, Sophos Firewall, or enterprise on-premises networking is a plus.
• Strong enthusiasm for learning new technologies and sharing insights.
• Capacity to simplify intricate networking concepts for various audiences.
• Ability to assist engineering teams in constructing secure and scalable solutions.
